About us
The Design
The Kala foil is made from 100% carbon with UHM carbon.
Thanks to Horue's production layup, we manage to achieve the perfect balance between stiffness and flexibility while providing bombproof construction.
The program
The Kala is clearly a foil dedicated to carving, enhancing quick turns and maneuvers with a safe behavior. The speed variations doesn't require any compensation by the rider, the Kala stays perfectly balanced whatever the speed and allows turning sequences with amazing ease.
From the first flight you will have the feeling of having perfect control over your foil, it will allow you to reach a high level of performance in a very short time.
The Outline
The thin leading edges and a particularly set back maximum chord thickness point, allows to reach high flight speed when needed.
We added surface area to the first two bumps, allowing a great low speed range.

SIZES AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE KALA
The 1400: quiet strength !
Downwind: it is aimed at riders of all levels, its glide and its low range will allow you to take off very early and to chain the undulations in spades over crazy distances, its excellent pumping allows you to connect the waves without difficulty.
Wingfoil: it is aimed at beginner riders or experienced riders wishing to ride in the light. Its glide and its low range will allow you to take off very early (from 8 knots or less for the best) and to pass the jibes very smoothly.
Surfoil: it is aimed at beginner riders, its glide and low range will allow you to take off very early in the slightest foam.
Dockstart/Flatstart: the 1400 is a dockstart and flatstart weapon in supfoil. It's a pumping machine! Ideal for working on legs and technique on windless days.
Combined with the stab 160, the Kala 1400 will give you all its qualities.
The 1100: It’s the do-it-all wing !
Downwind: it is aimed at intermediate and experienced riders, its glide and low range allow you to take off easily and chain waves together over crazy distances, its excellent pumping and very high Vmax allow you to connect waves without difficulty.
Wingfoil: it is aimed at beginners as well as experienced riders. It will allow you to fly early without sacrificing speed. Its carving ability will allow you to play in small to medium sized waves. On flat water you will appreciate the feeling of endless glide.
Surfoil: the very early flight will allow you easy takeoffs, its maneuverability and its perfect front foot/back foot balance allow you to take speed and carve while in control. The maneuvers and turns are done with ease and disconcerting stability specific to the behavior of the Kala.
Dockstart/Flatstart: The 1100 works very well in dockstart and flatstart in supfoil. Its large low range and its lift allow it to take off with little speed.
Combined with the stab 150, the Kala 1100 will give you all its qualities.
The 900: This is the wing that tears up the spot !
Downwind: It is aimed at experienced riders, its glide and low range allow you to take off after a few wise paddle strokes. Its excellent size/pumping efficiency and its Vmax allow you to chain waves while performing radical maneuvers on each bump that is offered to you. You tear up the spot !
Wingfoil: it is aimed at intermediate and advanced riders. It is the perfect wing for all conditions. It will allow you to fly early and go very fast. Its carving ability will allow you to play in medium to high sized waves.
On flat water you will appreciate the feeling of endless glide and its high Vmax.
Surfoil: It is the queen of the spot! It is aimed at experienced riders, the very early flight will allow you easy takeoffs, its maneuverability and its perfect front foot/back foot balance allow you to take speed and carve while in control. Its pumping will allow you spectacular climbs to go for the 2nd or 3rd waves ! The maneuvers and turns are done with ease and disconcerting stability specific to Kala behavior. With the 900 Kala you tear up the spot !
Towin: ideal for conditions from 1m to 1m50, it's the wing you need to have under your feet when you're towing! The 900 allows for full-speed releases, you can pull the rudder pedal to the maximum and let go suddenly without having to physically compensate for your foil, it remains stable. In the waves it's pure bliss, it goes fast, it carves hard, adrenaline in your veins !
Combined with the stab 140, the Kala 900 will give you all its qualities.
The 700: It’s the pro wing !
Wingfoil: It is aimed at experienced to expert riders. It is the wing for big windy days.
It will allow you to fly early and go very very fast. Its carving ability will allow you to go play in waves from high to very high. On flat water you will appreciate the feeling of endless glide and its high Vmax.

Surfoil: It is the queen of the spot! It is aimed at expert riders. It is the wing for big conditions. Its small surface allows take offs in the hollow, its maneuverability and its perfect front foot/back foot balance allow you to take speed and carve while in control. With good thighs its pumping will allow you spectacular climbs to go for the 2nd or 3rd waves! The maneuvers and turns are radicalized while maintaining an ease and disconcerting stability specific to Kala behavior.
With the 700 Kala you will tear up the spot !

Towin: Ideal for big conditions from 2m to 3m50, it's the wing you need to have under your feet when you're towining in the fat! MAST HORUE UHM 80 - Unwavering confidence
The new HORUE UHM 80 mast is a concentrate of glide and rigidity. It is the fruit of several years of experience generated by Horue. The ultra high modulus carbon layers allow to obtain maximum rigidity in order to have an ultra precise feedback for the rider as well as a surgical precision in the carves.
The 80 cm size is ideal for several disciplines. Whether in wing, surfoil or downwind, the Horue UHM 80 mast allows you to be comfortable and serene on your supports.
KALA STABILIZER - MACHINED CARBON
KALA stabs are 100% carbon. They are machined directly from the solid to obtain the best possible finish and therefore the greatest precision and rigidity.
These stabs are a compromise between speed, stability and carving. They allow you to push these 3 sliders to the maximum and to exploit the front wing to the maximum.
The KALA front wings are developed in line with the corresponding stabs. Depending on the riding style of each user, it is also possible to put a smaller or larger stab in order to modify the behavior of the foil to your desires.
KALA STABILIZER SIZE GUIDE
The KALA stabilizer comes in 5 sizes. Apart from the 190 stab, each stab size has been designed and developed to match the appropriate Kala front wing.
The 190 stab was developed for a freeride and beginner approach. It fits sizes 1100 and 1400.
KALA 160:

The carbon KALA160 frees the foil for a smoother ride, while providing excellent control. Ideal for experienced riders looking for freedom and precision.

KALA 150:

The KALA130 stab is the smallest in the range. It is a stab reserved for experts and those who want to go as fast as possible and turn very quickly. With this stab, there is no resistance in the water! Your KALA foil is completely unbridled.

KALA FUSELAGE
The KALA fuselage comes in 3 different sizes to suit everyone's tastes and styles.
All fuselages are made with 1st choice anodized aluminum. The connectors on the KALA front wings allow the fuselage an extra rigid and hydrodynamic support.
It is also possible to change the fuselage in no time depending on your setup and the mood of the day.
